Decisions

Disappointed...rejected. This just does it for me. Getting rejected to more than 5 places is devistating. I guess I have to stay in-state (Texas) and I don't want to. I know all of you say "there is always transfer" which I guess I have to do.

Congrats to all for getting accepted. Good luck to all of you.

if you really want out of texas there are still schools accepting applications. jacsonville univ accepts applic till summer, ti si in florida and green mountain college still accepts applic. a unique school in vermont. what are your stats and where are you looking to go. where in texas will you be going

wait listed but we'll see what happens. congrats to everyone who got accepted! can i see some stats?

Nothing yesterday, mail has been a little funny as of late. I hope, hope, hope I get in, Bard is amazing, and I had a wonderful interview with an admissions representative -- hopefully that counts for something. Not likely, though, all that matters to every school is numbers...Sigh.

accepted! again the thin envelope. i came home from school and my mom had her sympathetic face on... "there's a letter from Bard..."

but luckily, i opened and saw a big gold congratulations and didn't need to read anything else.

all accepted students - can you post your stats and if you plan on attending? thanks!!

i am accepted since january (EA) and today i got a letter saying that i got a presidential scholarship, but it does not say how much. any one else get this letter, anyone know how much it will be for??

I'm attending as long as my dad say okay to their not-so-great financial aid.

SAT math 550, then 610

My bard essay was the one about arguments... and I wrote this kind of ridiculous one about me, my mom, and communism.

I don't know what else... my recs were probably pretty good.

I'm female and from suburban PA, just outside philly. White.

Did anyone from Southern California recieve their notification? I'm still waiting for mine.

i would like to see other stats as well. i hope Brd is not going to be too competitive and want to see that htere ar kids of the same level as me, not these genuises going there. Bard has a great rep for verysmart kids. i think i did really well but am not top of the class.

hey fiddlefrog...could you post your stats? i got like, no aid from bard but a crazy amount from other schools and was just wondering what they're looking for.

What other schools gave you more?

Good god... I am jealous of you... ...

you shouldn't be...i still can't afford most of the schools even with the grant money.

i did get a presidential scholar award but for only 5K and no other financial aid, so Bard is out of the loop. Way too expensive, good luck to those who are going to go --

accepted and might be going.
