<p>I'm currently a second year and i want to declare public health at the end of this semester. What do you think the chances are of me getting accepted if my gpa is only around 2.97 - 3.0? I'm just worried I won't get accepted and I don't know how I can raise it if I need to declare already.</p>
<p>In the past years they took only ~150 students… one has to either submit an application or get on the list. You may want to talk to the counselor for Public Health department.</p>
<p>I think if you write a good statement of purpose, it will be taken into account. Also, the number of people applying per year is variable. The advisor told me that some years they have fewer applicants than spots available. I’d say go ahead and apply, but if you’re really concerned, talk to Tony.</p>
