I received no grants or scholarships from my school, my entire statement is made up of loans. If I decline a fraction of my financial aid, a loan, what happens?

I’m not sure what you are asking. If you decline part of the loan, then you don’t get that part of the loan. If you have an outstanding balance after the loans you accept are applied to your charges, then you will have to pay the balance by the due date.

Yep. S’ package was a mix of grants and 3 different types of loans. We took the grants and two types of loans, declined the third type (the unsubsidized Stafford).

As a result we will have to pay that amount when the tuition bill is due in addition to what we already would have owed.

For many schools you can decline an entire amount or you can accept a portion. Call your finaid office to find out their procedure for this.
