Declining SAT score?

Hi! I’m applying for junior transfer and I need help with deciding what scores to send.

I took the SAT (old) three times. I got 2180 the first time in my junior year. I then took it two more times, but each time my overall score went down slightly. the second time I raised my reading score by a bit, and the third time my math. superscore for all three is 2260

I also took the ACT once in junior year and got 33.

I’m worried about the downward trend in my SAT overall score if I send in my SAT scores. Is better to send in the 33 I got in ACT in one sitting? Or send in both? Assuming the fees are not an issue. I’d appreciate any input!

Good question. Schools say they only look at the “superscored” version, but I highly doubt that. Not all schools superscore, too.

I’d send both SAT (every sitting if the school superscores) and ACT. Colleges like to see that you did well on multiple tests, so they know that your one test wasn’t a fluke.
