Deep corner cabinet in kitchen with 2-tiered Lazy Susan

Love this thread! I really do like the access of our corner 2-tier Lazy Susan. (The top shelf in particular is handy to this short lady who can’t reach high shelves and is old enough to not be keen on digging through lower cabinets). The worry is that shelves have 1 inch lip, not enough to keep some light things from jumping ship, possibly jamming things.

I may put some more of my tall, heavy things (like small food processor) there and move some of the storage stuff (like old empty spice bottles in a bag) elsewhere.

I have a pantry with lots of storage, so my corner drawer is for stuff we need to have on hand for cooking–strainer, measuring cups of all sizes, and two sets of mixing bowls.

I lied. Mine does have a wooden shelf under the top shelf. As I wrote above, mine is only 3/4, but I measured, and it is 30” in diameter.

I would have never thought to have stored things in the corner. There isn’t a ton of space, but I’m going to see what might fit.

Dang! My glass “tupperware” is in a cupboard that should have a roll out shelf, I am going to try moving them to the lazy susan

I was visiting my daughter and her home is quite old, some things had fallen off the back of the lazy susan so I emptied half and crawled in there to get them, home alone, I had definite visions of her returning home in two hours to me still stick! Hers has no lip!

Well, you guys inspired me to move my blended (not used much during the winter) on the lazy susan. One less thing on the counter is good.

Gee, you guys are inspiring me to figure out what we should do with our stash of paper goods in plastic containers that are in inaccessible corner that we could store laundry detergent of other stuff in.
