heeyyyy

sorry that there are so many of these threads, just, had to lol

Deerfield sent out their letters JUST now. I got waitlisted.

UGHHHH.

Ok. I'll save that for later. Is Deerfield's waitlist actually that small? I don't believe it issssss i really liked deerfield so... yeah...

I’m sorry mate =/

Where did you find deerfield! Are you international?

yeah lol. i think only internationals get emails. I didn’t even expect deerfield to email me =/

bummer westcaost, but think- waitlist is wayyy better then full-out rejection

I was waitlisted at St.Pauls with my sister =/

st. paul’s is up!

Does Deerfield send out all the letters at once? Is anyone else still waiting for one?

i think deerfield only sends out online letters if you are international

I have an American address, but I am a special case being that I don’t live at my address and they said they would send an e-mail

Maybe they forgot about you lol. E-mail them in a few days if you don’t get it.

Waitlisted at Deerfield as well (international here). You’re not the only one T_T.

My daughter is waitlisted at SPS. Accepted to Brooks school. Haven’t heard from any other schools.

how did you guys find out about sps?!?!
i might have gotten the user and pass but i can’t find the letter.
the only user and pass i have is for my infosnap account.

You login into mysps on the site…so I would find the letter if you want to check now.

D waitlisted at SPS, rejected from Exeter…and then she had to go to school :(. Still hopeful for three more this afternoon. We are in the needing 50% FA bracket…wonder if we’ll ever know what the reason is for rejection decisions…

Exeter used to let you know if you called and asked. My son was rejected in 2003, but a friend of his with similar stats, but 0 athletic or musical (both of which my son had) was accepted. She was full pay; he needed almost full fa. We called and asked and they said it was because of fa. Did lessen the blow somewhat, but made me feel like you really can’t make it in America unless you are monied. My husband chose to be a teacher…a very important profession…but, it doesn’t get your kids places, I guess! (Things did work out at another school, however!)

Thanks keylyme…we’ll see how the rest of the day pans out. We too are in the non-profit world. It will be a hard lesson for my daughter if her full-pay friends get in.

Son rejected Brooks, its OK, just not meant to be!

Waitlisted from Deerfield, International as well~~~
