<p>does anyone who what the deferal/admit rate for cornell is? like how many people who get deferred end up getting in for RD? i heard it was like 40% but i don't really know....yea i'm just really nervous for tomorrow...</p>

<p>I think they forgot to change the data for 2001. The # admitted from waitlist can't possible be the same.</p>

<p>its like 1/3 accepted, 1/3 deferred or waitlisted, and 1/3 rejected</p>
<p>one year or two year deferral means depending on how well you do at another college, you get a guaranteed transfer. thats in RD, and in ED in means they will reconsider you in the RD pool.</p>
<p>waitlisted means you are put on the waitlist. you have to wait and see and depending on how many people enroll, if not enough fill the spots than they will take off you the waitlist and accept you</p>
