I was just deferred LSA. Is it still possible for me to be admitted Ross preferred admission?
I’m wondering the same thing!
Yes, there were deferred students admitted to Ross later after their admission in RD rolling.
Yep, but it might be harder because early action people fill a lot of the ross spots.
Were you accepted or deferred from LSA?
I was accepted
Congratulations! Wish I could say the same… Ross is definitely my top choice right now. Do you know what percent of Ross is filled by EA acceptees?
@DukeDreams thanks sm! I wish you best of luck dude, you got this! Ross data here: https://michiganross.umich.edu/programs/bba/class-profile no idea the specifics of EA, but this is the data.
Yes, I know people who were deferred and then got into Ross and are currently freshman. However, it is less likely since, if you were deferred for stats, you are probably less competitive, and more of the class is already filled.
That’s good to hear. I thought my stats would be pretty competitive for Ross. I’m in the top 3% of my class, 1520 SAT, 800 Math II, 740 US History but OOS. A lot of people around my area even with higher stats were deferred so hopefully there’s still a chance in the RD round.
Then I’d say you definitely still have a chance, but at the end of the day Admissions gets the final say, so all I can really say is best of luck. ^^
Got deferred from COE, hopefully if I do get accepted it happens quickly and the application gets through to Ross because I feel my Ross application is much stronger than my regular one.
@WeakECs12 recall that Ross does also see your normal application in addition to the Ross supplements. Best of luck!
