Deferred Enrollment

Hi all: I was accepted at UCD for the 2018 school year (class of 2022) and noticed on my portal that UCD offers students to take up to 1 year, separated by quarters, before going/returning to school, given they have a satisfactory reason. Is this true for all UCs, or is it limited to certain ones in particular?

UCD is unique in that they allow you this option but again you need a good reason. You would need to check with each UC about their policy but most have specific reasons such as Military service to allow you the defer.
