Deferred Hotel School

Is it true what they only accepted a total of 30 kids world wide to the hotel school this year?!?!

That seems incredible. Is it true that 53% of deferrals still get accepted?
What to do in these few months to say im still interested?!?!

roar!

This is how I feel about the ED this year. On the class profile http://www.hotelschool.cornell.edu/prospective/undergrad/admissions-info2006.pdf it says that 61 people were admitted ED. I thnk that the first 30 people who were admitted either were legacy, or had AMAZING Stats AND Experience. The RD round is where they are going to pick up 31 more people they deffered who have shown passion. I am going to expand on this, but right now I have NO TIME!!!! Hotel Deferrers,,, WE ARE GETTING IN

did cornell say that only 30 people got in world-wide?

jujst keep showing your interest in hotel... keep updating cornell about yourself.. youll get in

wth?? wow i never thought hotel school was that competitive!!! only 30 worldwide?? a snr girl (im jr) in my ap spanish class got in Cornell ED Hotel .. dang.. now i feel she's special after reading this thread. So technically speaking, she's one of the 30.

Actually a typical hotel class size (Class of 20XX) at Cornell is about 180 students. While that is still very selective ... its not as bad as this thread might indicate. Keep your dreams alive
