Deferred - Sending an Update?

Was deferred during the ED round. Since then I have raised my SAT scores as well as gotten an extra letter of recommendation. Would now be a good time to send in a note stating that Penn is still my first choice as well as sending in the extra letter of recommendation?

Yep. :)

Yep! Decisions are out in (basically) two months…now is as good of time as ever! Good luck to you!

General Question here:
If WL during RD, should you send third quarter grades? Send updates?

I think if you are WL during RD, Penn has a form for you to provide a whole stream of updates on, all electronically. Could be wrong. Check the 2015 RD WL threads. I just remember that the WL form asks for what schools you got into, what schools you got WL at, and what schools you got Rejected from.

Wait, should this be a letter that I type up and mail in or a direct e-mail to the admissions office/my regional admissions officer?

^ I’d send an email. The Admissions Office is predominantly a paperless operation these days, and an email would be more likely to get to the right place to be read, I’d bet.
