I just got defferred to University of Maryland and they had me send my mid-year grades and I'm wondering what realistic shot that I have at this point. My gpa is a 3.2 and i got a 1230 on my SATs and I know that makes me seem well below average compared to everyone else in this board but I was wondering if anyone could help me out. My dad attended the university and my mid-year gpa for my senior year is 3.6 in actual core subjects(2 social studies, 2 sciences, Calculus, and English), not just senioritis type classes. Im also curious if theyre pushing me through because I would be an ideal waitlist candidate considering they know that Maryland is my outright #1 choice. Please let me know if thats just me being pessimistic or it could be a possibility. Thanks for your time.

It's going to be difficult. If you had higher SAT's you have have been a shoein, but I think your still in great shape!
