Is it unheard of to reapply to a college for regular decision if you got rejected in the EA? Would it be encouraged, or are you not even allowed to reapply after they reject you? I know for deferred they basically tell you to apply during RD.
I think if you are rejected EA you are rejected. No point applying regular decision after being rejected. If your EA application is deferred you are automatically considered regular decision unless you withdraw your application.
No. You don’t reapply in RD cycle if rejected EA. If you are in the admirable range, you would be deferred.
if you are rejected EA or ED the school is saying that you so not qualify for admission, period.
When deferred from EA you don’t then reapply RD. Your application usually just moves to an RD status for consideration by the admissions dept. OPs post seemed to imply the need to reapply.
The OP asks the question about when you are REJECTED in ED. That means the school will not accept another application. That person is no longer in the considered in the pool of applicants (that year - free to apply in later years)
