If I defer my enrollment for one year. Am I guaranteed to receive the same scholarship I received this year in the next year?

Your financial aid may vary year to year, depending on your family’s financial situation. My daughter’s has changed a bit each year, but that change is because of us, not Stanford. They have been consistent as to what financial levels qualify for aid.
You have to reapply for FA each year since your family financial situation is going to be different from year to year. However, if your family’s financial situation doesn’t change much, you can predict what you will be getting in 2018-19 from what you’ve received for 2017-18.
