Should I try to improve my "stock" for applying to law school by getting a masters in criminal justice or should I get a second bachelor's in finance so that I have something to fall back on in case I cant make it into law school?

You should not pursue the masters just to boost your acceptance chances. Moreover, such a boost would be small at best. It would likely be better for your to get a degree in finance so you have more options. However, an even better option may just be to enter the workforce now and get a feel for things rather than spending more time in the classroom (assuming you already have a bachelors degree).
