degree in biology

I like Pomona. But I am concerned that the degree from Pomona in biology would not be as highly regarded by graduate school as the degree from other top LACs (Williams, Swarthmore, Grinnell, ...).

Any comments would be greatly appreciated.

ever heard of the acronym WASP with regards to top LACs (it's clever, huh)
williams, amherst, swarthmore, pomona. though it should def include many others, bowdoin, midd, haverford, carleton, etc (please don't roast me if i didn't include other obvious ones, im just not thinking very hard right now)... med schools know LACs. don't worry. look up the stats about med schools admissions and what not if you're worried. im sure it's somewhere. close friend went haverford --> johns hopkins --> harvard!

Sorry if my post wasn't clear enough. I'm NOT interested in medical school. I am planning to go to GRADUATE school (want to be a research scientist, interested in cellular biology). I like Pomona's location, consortium, laid back atmosphere. The only concern is that Pomona's BIOLOGY program is not strong enough in comparison with some other top LACs.
I know that Pomona's economics, english and some other programs are top notch.

Pomona's biology is truly top-notch. A brand new $20 million biology lab was just put in (keep in mind there are only undergrads) and the lab itself is really cool. There's everything you could imagine in there, and it's all state of the art. Pomona also has a particularly strong molecular biology program, if you're into mobio, and the SURPS (summer undergraduate research projects across all majors, but especially in the sciences) are incredible
