Degrees for mid-career designer who likes philosophy

I like reading philosophy and am considering a philosophy BA at home through ASU Online for recreation. It may have some career benefit just because it is a BA.

Can you think of any degrees that might be helpful for a graphic designer? I am already mid-career. I will be getting a liberal arts AS (social and behavioral science) next year, just to finish it.

I don’t really want to study anything design or art related, but could be swayed if it is a good argument. If anything I could go to law school with a philosophy degree haha.

Depends on your ultimate goal. Certainly some type of Marketing focus would bring valuable insights to your current role. I do think Philosophy is a great baseline for almost any career. Whether it’s law school or starting your own design from down the road.

Some schools have slightly different slants to their Philosophy programs from more classical to programs that look at the intersection between Philosophy and other areas (Math, Business, Physics, etc)
