Facebook diminished my productivity. I want to delete it. But at the same time, I will lose contact with a lot of people, and perhaps being out of the loops with my friends. Has anyone here deleted their account ?

I deactivated mine a few months ago, and I don’t miss it. The people that you’d want to stay in touch with you do anyways, and the rest just kinda waste your time. Plus if you deactivate your account instead of deleting it, you can reactivate it if you want to.

I think there is one kid in my school with Facebook (it’s a small school). He’s cool and people like him, but he gets so out of it without Facebook. Don’t do it. Unless your grades will actually take a dip, I guess.

I deleted my Facebook awhile ago; I don’t miss it. The people you need to keep in contact with will keep in contact with you. Everything else is just meaningless.

woooot. another chance to promote my sort-of blog. Check it out. i deleted my facebook about a month ago.

deactivation doesn’t work. I keep logging back in!

^yeah, the only thing deactivating does is log you out. pretty ****ing pointless. Instead, change half your password and have someone else change the other half. that way neither of you know what it is and you can’t log back in.
