Deleting a college from CommonApp AND Naviance

Hi all,

First post here- hope I’m in the right place! I have recently deleted two colleges from my CommonApp list; however, since one of my teachers has already sent in a recommendation via Naviance eDocs, I’m unable to delete any colleges from the “Colleges I’m Applying To” list on Naviance. I’m unable to contact my counselor since her office is closed over winter break.

My question is- will the Naviance recommendations still go through to colleges that I’ve deleted from CommonApp? If so, is there any way I can change that/is that harmful?

I don’t know if it will or if you can change it, but it doesn’t matter. They won’t evaluate an incomplete application, so if just a rec is sent, but you don’t submit your application, nothing will happen.

@guineagirl96 Thank you for your help! Turns out my counselor was checking her email over break and she deleted the requested colleges from Naviance. Should be good now.
