If you use the dorm kitchen you could buy yourself a George Foreman grill (costs about $50, but well worth it). It’s very easy to make fish with. I like to make salmon on it. Buy a 6 oz salmon fillet from the grocery store and ask the fish monger to skin it. Add some salt and pepper to it and put it on the grill for 3 minutes. Simple and delicious. You can eat it with a side of vegetables or a starch like a baked potato.

Fried chicken. I marinade the chicken in an acidic solution (vinegar, soy sauce or Italian dressing works), I get the premixed flour (it’s cheap, and it’s designed for frying), I wash, dry and grease the chicken, then roll the chicken pieces in the flour, add spices and herbs if I want, and then just stick it in the oven for 45 minutes on 360F.

pita bread pizza. put some tomato sauce on pita, top with mozzarella or any shredded cheese combo on pita bread, drizzle with some olive oil, and finish off with whatever toppings you like. it takes like 15 in the toaster oven. sooo good.
