GOOD LUCK!

Take Care,
Lisa

I think you missed a large portion of the criteria?

Participating in a Michael & Susan Dell Foundation approved college readiness program for a minimum of two of the last three years

Yeah, I applied for this scholarship and my application is complete, but I do not feel confident in my application. There are so many qualified students for this scholarship. Anyway, anyone who applies I wish you the best of luck! (:

Semi Finalist from WA WHOO !

Anyone know how many semi-finalists there are? I literally applied on a whim, and on the day of the deadline, so I was quite shocked when I saw their e-mail today saying that I was a semi-finalist.

Semi finalist!

My friend is a finalist. I don’t think I ever sent it, but I finished it… :</p>

Well looky here. I didn’t get it. I’m guessing it must be purely need, because they gave it to a girl who has academic dishonesty on her record, but she probably lied for most of her responses, because she lies about anything and everything. She cheats her way through school and isn’t even ranked in the top 20%! Way to go Dell, you really chose the right candidate for this one. Not to mention, she doesn’t need the money because she is going to a community college because none of the schools accepted her because she has academic dishonesty on her record. I mean if you’re going to be a cheater, at least get good grades and don’t get caught. I’m sure you can tell I used to be friends with her, and am no longer, but I couldn’t stand all the lies. She literally lies even when there is absolutely no reason to lie, which annoyed me the most! I mean I can’t stand cheaters, but when you lie for no reason to your bff’s face about stupid stuff and the big stuff you get tired of it.
and quite frankly, I’m tired of being told that I have been passed up for yet another scholarship because my demonstrated need isn’t sufficient enough even though my family has zero means of paying for college. I don’t care what the efc says! Plus, when will a scholarship realize that students with lower efc’s already get more in financial aid, so you really don’t have to pass up an amazing student for someone who has academic dishonesty on her record!

Yayyyyyyyyyyyy!

YOU GO GIRL(dreamer)!

Thanks !! What about you? :DD

It obviously was a scholarship dedicated towards the lower end of the academic spectrum. However, that doesn’t give you the right to “vent” on this forum. Please only post positive comments in the future. Congrats, girldreamer.
