Hi there, could someone tell me about the deluxe residential halls at UCLA? I get that they're a litter more spacious than the classic ones, but I'd like to know more.

How do they compare to the classic residential halls?

How do they compare to the classic residential halls?

You mean the residential plazas?

The deluxe residence halls.

The housing website has a ton of info and this question is in the FAQ list.

They are WAY bigger. There are 2 buildings that are 1 year old and there will be 2 more brand new buildings next year. Triples in normal res halls are really crowded and small but triples in the “deluxe” res halls are much more spacious and comfortable to live in.

I think you’re probably talking about holly and gardenia. They’re a tad bigger and more comfy to live in. But, honestly, I’m fine with the classics like Rieber, for the lower cost. At the end of the day, I just need a place to sleep.
