Democratic or Republican?

Liberal ain't cool, the sooner you realize this, the sooner you can go take a shower. You smell.

it's so hip to be liberal these days- mostly b/c of celebrities' hatred of bush

i am republican, i used to be a bush supporter, but the recent events have changed my mind

i'm no longer a supporter, but definitely a republican

the democratic party is just too disorganized, their policies make no sense, and all they do is complain
even michael moore said that they're "bum-fuzzled"

Anti-Mason.

conservative republican

the liberals had there hayday in the 60s and they screwed everything up.

god bless ronald reagan.

God Bless Ronald Reagan indeed.

I'm liberal on every issue.

I support:
-Gay marriage rights (if you think it's wrong, then don't do it, but don't impose your beliefs on others.)
-Abortion rights (same reasoning as gay marriage)
-Nuclear Nonproliferation (I might be a little too optimistic on this one, but I think we can make this work.)
-Gun Control (same as above, only I don't think guns are necessary.)
-Government funded higher education (I value education a lot: education is one of the largest keys to success)
-Abolition of Collegeboard (it's a monolithic giant that needs its charter revoked)
-Abolition of IRS (same reasoning as above)
-Peaceful resolution: something called diplomacy that Bush seems to not know about...I guess it's more "manly" to drop bombs on people's houses to get them to like us. I guess diplomacy is too "feminine" for Bush as it doesn't involve murder.
-Human rights: also something Bush doesn't seem to know about...I guess it's also more "manly" to abuse people's fundemental rights (ahem, Un-PATRIOT Act)

I'm against:
-The death penalty: totally uncalled for. Let's commit those convicted murderers to community service, and help improve our world.

"Government funded higher education" bs We don't need more money. How do you explain a Belgian middle school scoring higher on english test than American students. It's not because of money. It's because we're spending money on unimportant things, unqualified teachers, etc.

Abortion: I think you should have to keep the baby unless you're raped.

"The death penalty: totally uncalled for. Let's commit those convicted murderers to community service, and help improve our world."

Are you serious? You think a serial killer can improve the world.

As you can see, I am extremely republican and I can't even vote. :P

my political philosophy is roughly in line with libertarianism

but i vote democrat

Mmm...and here we have a strawman, ladies and gents. :)

independent, but strongly anti-bush and the republican party now

I'm conservative on fiscal issues but more liberal on social issues. I don't agree with the Republican social agenda at all, I don't consider gay marriage, abortion and things of that sort to be big concerns of mine. I'll probably vote Republican because of the economic issues, no way would I be voting Democrat on that.

Yes. I believe in that all people are good by nature. Besides, life in prison costs less per person than the death penalty because they go through like 15 years of appeal before the sentence gets overturned.

If you are conservative on fiscal issues, take a look at what the Bush administration has done to our budget/deficit! One can't assume that Republican=fiscal conservative, by any stretch of the imagination.

I never said I agree with the current administration's economic policies, I absolutely do not. They are based on terrible economic principles. But in general I consider myself a free market capitialist, not a socialist and I won't vote for a party who supports many of the socialist economic ideals.

Yes, you don't seem to see much of the "old-fashioned" Republican candidates these days, who are fiscally prudent and socially/environmentally moderate.

Unfortunately. So I may as well be forced to vote Democrat. If it came down to voting for a Democrat who I might not agree with vs crazy religious Republican, the choice wouldn't be too hard.

More libertarian-ish, but I would probably vote Republican

"Government funded higher education"
And tell me, exactly where is this authorized the constitution?

The Constitution is a living, breathing document when it suits the agenda of anti freedom advocates.

Republican pretty much all the way.
