I’m just curious, usually what is the deadline for schools to consider interactions you do with them demonstrated interest? Lets say I applied EA at Tulane, what would be the cutoff where I campus visit could help me? Thank you.

S23 is currently at Tulane so I can answer at least related to that school - but it’s going to vary from one school to the next.
S23 did not visit Tulane until after he was accepted. We’re in the Northeast and with their low acceptance rates we weren’t going to travel that far. August of 2022 he did 2 virtual sessions (one with his prospective program and one general information session with admissions). We also went to a general information session that was held at a local Marriott in late September.
I would say he also had very strong “why Tulane” essays that clearly outlined what he felt set Tulane apart to him.
