the date of my email says it was received on aug 12th but i checked everyday and it didn't appear in my mailbox until aug 14

just to check, i'm about to purchase the den mini plan. it says the last 5 home games, from my count it includes:

fresno state
washington state
stanford
oregon state
USC

some of them are listed "at BYU" and "at California" it means that those aren't home games, right?

i just want to make sure before i buy $65 worth of tickets; make sure that it includes USC.

Is there usually a free football game? I remember last year it was cal vs ucla.

Still haven't gotten an email =/

Nothing here either!! :(

Also have no email yet =(

kutibah, derby: Just called ticket office and they said if you have not already received an email stating you've won, it means you did not get tickets. My son only received the football plan.:( Does this mean that you will never get into the basketball games or does it depend on 'who you know'?

So wait, do I still get football tickets if I didn't win? Also I thought you'd at least get either Gold or Blue if you didn't win?

That's what I thought. I know for a fact that I didn't do the option where if I didn't get any tickets then I didn't want football tickets. Does the money just go into my account then?

There are three ticket possibilities:

Blue AND Gold plan (in addition to football tickets)

Blue OR Gold plan (in addition to football tickets)

just football tickets

If you didn't win the lottery but still said that you wanted the football tickets, then you still get the football tickets. The lottery was only used to determine what basketball plan students received, if any. If you were not selected for a basketball plan then your money will be refunded for the plan that you had hoped to get.

Is it truly a 'lottery' or do they hand pick the students according to senority, fin. aid status, alumni...?

no tix for me. Oh cruel fate!

you can always find a friend who does have tickets and give them money to buy a guest ticket, if you really want to go.

i'm sure i'll be doing that for a friend, at one point, during the season.

i got the gold plan too!

Wait, I thought we couldn't buy guest tickets for basketball games?

i meant for the football games, lol.

Oh, okay. I think any student can buy one guest ticket for the football games, though. At least, that's what it sounds like on the website. It's not much cheaper than regular tickets, though. It's 35 bucks, I think. Individual game tickets for students are 10 bucks.

No package. :( Is there another way to get tickets for basketball? I'm good for football because I'm in marching band, but I hear that since I'm a nube I won't get to play at basketball games.

^ depends on your instrument, what they need, and which games. you WILL get to play, just maybe not as much as those with seniority.

^Really? That's cool. Do popular games have a bigger section, or are they more likely to be given only to senior members? (Obviously I'm thinking about USC.) Are there good ways to increase my chances first year?
