Denial -- and other funny stories about getting ready fior USMMA

We've read the information. and knew we'd have to make travel arrangements very quickly. So my wife called for plane tickets, and I made the hotel reservations.

Everything is confirmed ! :)

Then the "Logging In" arrives, with it's own instructions.
Wisdom Teeth! Oh no -- mess up Prom, Graduation, or something else?!?
Now, let's hunt more papers, etc.
Hmmm, need to check the plane tickets ...

I crack up, and ask her " Why did you make a ROUND-TRIP reservation for our son? Don't you think he'll be staying past July 5th? I sorta think they'll be expecting it."

Would Freud say we are in denial?

We laughed...
It was funny.
But her eyes got kinda watery... At least I think so, since my were a little watery too [must be pollen.. Yeah, Riight]

Amen! Zonker :) I keep telling my husband the pollen is terrible this year, and I hear that Long Island is expecting a terrible pollen storm around 5 July.

i assure you, they'll be well taken care of. : )

I got the pollen thing just reading your comments...gotta tell you our son is a 4th class and still have bouts with the pollen when I think of him. Was supposed to come home for memorial day and trip got cancelled do to watch duty....all the best to you plebe parents...get ready for a great experience for you and your plebe candidates..

Ok here we go...4 wisdom teeth scheduled OUT 6/4; graduation 6/8; graduation brunch for 75 at home 6/9: week in Can Cun, Mexico with high school best buds 6/10-6/17. Then, work-outs and running (as much as wisdom teeth surgery will tolerate) until we head north to KP on 4th July!

Good luck with the wisdom teeth. May make for some cute graduation photos!

Let the journey begin.............
