Denied Admission For Lower GPA?

I have a question regarding the CSU policy denying admission for your GPA dropping.

I got accepted to SDSU and in my acceptance letter it says:

"In addition, your admission is further conditioned on your completing, with "C" or higher grades, all coursework indicated on your application as in progress or planned, AND your maintaining your reported overall grade point average."

My question is about the last part...my overall GPA I reported was a 3.7, so are they saying that if I finish high school with a 3.6 then my admission will be revoked?

Help me out

Ask your guidance counselor if in his/her experience a drop from 3.7 to 3.6 has resulted in admission being rescinded. I expect that the drop would have to be more than that. Basically, this message is to remind you that you can’t slack off for the rest of the year. SDSU fully expects you to keep your grades up.

No, you will not be rescinded for dropping from a 3.7 to a 3.6 from a CSU. CSUs don’t even require a 3.6 for admission.
