Accepted GPA confusion

Just got accepted as a transfer!!!!!

However I am kind of worried. It stated that I must keep the exact GPA that I reported or else my acceptance will be revoked....The problem is that I have a 4.0 and I am concerned on what will happen if I receive a B or even a C in a class. My over all GPA would still meet the threshold but would no longer be a 4.0. What would the outcome be?

It feels like Im being punished for having my GPA and I am pretty confused.....no one at my CCC knows anything about it, and SDSU won't answer my question.

....and Im pretty sure I am not going to get a 4.0 this semester, should I even commit to sdsu?

Just don’t fall below a 3.0

I had the same concern so I called the admissions office at SDSU. I told her that I have a 3.8 and asked if I would be rejected if my gpa dropped to 3.7 or 3.6. She said that I would be fine, this issue only arises when the difference is significant. For example, you report 3.7 but your transcript states otherwise or you somehow drop to 3.0.

Don’t worry anymore!

Good Luck.

Hi, can you clarify a bit please? I reported a 3.81 on my app, and I know I DEFINITELY won’t be getting that for my senior 2nd semester grades. I probably have a 3.5-3.6 now. Will they rescind me for that?
