I'm already beginning to worry about dental school and I'm only a HS senior. I want to pursue dentistry but when I looked at the ones in Southern California (where I live), there is only USC, UCLA, and Loma Linda. UCLA's Dental school only accepted 88 out of like 1300. That's insane. I don't know much about Loma Linda and USC so I'm going to assume they're just as hard. What the hell do I do? What if I don't get into any of those? Will there be more dental schools in southern california?

Here is the game plan:

You go to an undergraduate school, keep a high GPA, get a high DAT score, and do what you love for extracurricular activities.

It does not matter if the admission rate is low. This is nothing compared to what it will be like in four years when you apply. The important factor is resilience. You never give up.

It is okay to be rejected the first time. Many students apply more than once to get in.

If you want to stay in California, then you can pick from UCLA, USC, Loma Linda, UCSF, and Pacific.
