<p>i don't know that much about it. but i know really nice people that go there. i think it's sort of a preppy kid from the midwest kind of school. i think they have some sort of business program or something that's pretty good.</p>
<p>D visited and liked it, although not enough to apply. It has great dorms, great facilities in general, awards lots of merit aid in reasonable amounts and has smart , good looking kids hanging around. I just don't think D felt the spark there that she felt at some other equally positioned schools although I would recommend the school as a very viable choice.</p>

<p>Yep, UMDAD. That was probably the telling factor although the sorority girl showing D around was half GDI herself!</p>
<p>Yes, we were amazed to learn that approx. 75% of the student body is Greek. Although, after visiting, we could see why that may be the case. The campus was very nice, however, it's located in a very small town and felt fairly isolated. As Curmudgeon mentioned, our son also liked the school, but not enough to apply.</p>

<p>I drove past this university twice on the freeway this weekend, when I drove from Cleveland to Carbondale, IL. Not that that helps you any, I just thought it was ironic. (to me anyways)</p>
