I'm a 19-year-old community college student living in Arizona. I moved here by myself from Michigan about 2 years ago to establish residency in order to get in-state tuition since I planned to go to an Arizona state school. However, I'm almost finished with my CC transfer degree, and I was thinking I might want to transfer to University of Michigan. Both of my parents (my entire family for that matter) are still residents of Michigan. I'm still considered a dependent of my parents. Would it be possible for me to pay in-state tuition if I were to move back to Michigan?

Your residency is probably in Mich because of your age.

It looks as if you may have to file an Application for Resident Classification.

It also looks as if there’s a considerable chance that such an application would be approved.

And, really, it also looks as if you could have come up with this answer by yourself with a little Googling.
