I was filling out my response card today and noticed that there was no mention of a deposit. Do we have to make a deposit for Harvard?

Yes, you have to make a deposit, but I don’t believe that you do it at the same time as you accept your place in the class. Send in the card and call admissions or the registrar on Monday about how the deposit works. I think you can also accept online. It’s been only four short years since my son sent his in, but I’m fuzzy on the details.

Actually it was sortof confusing because no there is no deposit and I think everyone expects to have to make one. Just send in your response card and pay your first term bill in Aug.

Oops, I must be thinking of my other kid’s school! Sorry for the confusion.

Harvard does not require any sort of deposit.

Yes, fauve and 2bornot2bivy are correct. There is no deposit required for Harvard - the first payment you will have to make on your termbill (if you will be paying, that is) is in late August.

Awesome. Reason #15745 to pick Harvard. Thanks for the help, guys, and hope to see some of you all there this fall!
