So I've made the deposit. I am very excited, of course. I was wondering what happens now. I've got the Email confirmation for the deposit payment, but that's all. Is there any other Email confirmation, or anything else that I should do in the immediate future?

Do a google search for UVa Mail. You’ll want to get an email account with UVa. This will be the uni’s main way of contacting you when you enroll.

You’ll want to sign up for an orientation date and you’ll have to take a quiz on their policies concerning computers, fraud, internet access, etc. (you have to complete this in order to have UVa Mail).

You’ll have to wait 72 hours after paying the deposit to do everything above.

After that you’re given the option to choose out your meal plan (but it isn’t due until June). On May 1st, the housing applications will also be available. You’ll also have to do a health screening or something (I’m not really sure since I haven’t looked into this one yet) sometime before June.

Basically, you have time before you do any of this. You’ll want to get the UVa Mail and your summer orientation date as soon as possible, though.

Before your orientation make sure you come prepared with a list of classes and professors you’ll want for your first semester! They’ll give you a chance to register for classes during orientation and your chances of getting the classes will be greater now! You can do research on the courses and professors by googling “UVa Course Forum”. When you get to thecourseforum.com, you’ll want to sign up using your UVa email account and a random password.

That’s all I can think of…I might be missing something so make sure you do some research.

The required health form mainly emphasizes making sure you have all of the required immunizations.

Thank you all so much. Very much appreciation. I was kinda afraid that i would need to go to Wake Forest instead, jk.
