<p>some details please. self segragation? diversity? what kind of people are there? some stereotypes? (ie nerdy, southern preppy, athletic, etc)</p>

<p>Rice students are generally friendly, diverse, smart, busy, and sort of quirky in a good way.</p>
<p>The kids from my HS who went to Rice were mostly nerdy and straight-edge.</p>
<p>Southern preppy would not be a good description. People are very casual for the most part. </p>
<p>Also, straight edge would not be a good description.</p>
