What all colleges are primarily Design Your Own Major Schools?

I'm pretty sure Brown is open for students to design their majors, but I think you pick a general major and then show some concentration in something else. Brown's curriculum in general is much more open than most colleges.

Marlboro, Hampshire, and New College of Florida are only design-your-own major schools.

Many, many, many colleges give you the option of designing your own major; whether it's clear from first glance or not is another story.

nyu gallatin is a fairly prestigious and well known school of this type.

Vanderbilt lets you design your own major.

What louisvilleslacker said. On the other hand do you really want to spend 200k for a weird major?

CollectivSynergy-why would one design a "weird" major? When you design your own major it is generally to pull threads of interest together and to try and cut out filler that may not pertain to those interests.

Bennington is a design your own major school.

All students at the College of the Atlantic design their own curriculum. It's a small, close-knit school with an awesome location and great food. :)

Eugene Lang College in New School University is known for flexibility and for encouraging students to go their own way. I agree that Gallatin (NYU) and Hampshire would be good choices.

As a student at College of the Atlantic, I can completely vouch for designing my own curriculum, a major feature here. If you'd like to find out more information other than looking on the website, feel free to message me, i'd love to chat!
