Sorry this might be a SUPER specific question, and i might be better off contacting Syracuse directly, but i figured i would ask here first!</p>
<p>I would love to pursue a minor in Irish Studies (plan to major in comm. at Newhouse), but this is not an available minor. The school offers 3 courses that could be applicable to this minor, but that's it. Now this is where study abroad ties in...</p>
<p>I plan on studying abroad for a semester or year(?) in Dublin, where the University of Dublin offers an Irish Studies minor. Assuming that I were able to complete all of the University's requirements for their Irish Studies minor during my time abroad, would Syracuse count this towards my degree and grant me a minor in Irish Studies? Or no, because it's not actually being offered by Syracuse University? </p>
<p>It's very likely that the only way to get a surefire answer is contacting the school, but if anyone knows any information regarding this please let me know! Most appreciated</p>
