I've recently heard a lot about Dickinson College, and it seems to match with a lot of the things I'm looking for in a college. I'm wondering if anyone knows about the science program at Dickinson, or if students do sophistocated science research at the college. I'm probably looking for premed, hence the desire for research, so I was just wondering about any of the impressions people on this board got from the school in that area.

Thanks!

Dickinson REQUIRES research of all science majors. Here's a link describing some recent research:

By the way, Dickinson is one of the few schools I've found that encourages and makes it easy for science students to study abroad.

Great school, nice campus, good pre-med advising, one of the nicest undergraduate libraries I've seen anywhere.

If you're heading out to visit Dickinson, I suggest you also check out nearby Franklin & Marshall, which is also strong for science, pre-med and undergrad research.
