This winter I visited Dickinson college, along with Bucknell, F&M, and Gettysburg. I'm a sophomore in HS, but since we don't get to PA very often we took the opportunity to visit, even though its a little early.

So Dickinson is located in a very pretty cute little town. I really thought it was nice: stores that are located in houses, people walking down the street, streetlights with christmas lights. Also its located very close to a big city so it's not an isolated small town as I expected.

I was VERY impressed when we went into admissions. A very wellspoken girl talked to us about the college and answered questions for us. They really encourage studying abroad, which is an exciting possibility.

Dickinson is unique in that there is definitely an attempt to be eco-friendly. The girl explained how Dickinson aims to teach it's students the broader picture, and instead of just being lofty and confusing, it made sense. She said that the student body tended to be more liberal, which you may take as a good or bad sign.

I was worried about the road that divides the campus in two, and I thought that would be an annoyance to everyday life, but I was really shocked when traffic literally stopped immediately when my family was about to cross the road.

The campus is pretty, but I don't know I didn't really like how all the buildings were the same limestone. Well, I didn't like how the campus as a whole looked, but once I got close to each individual building, I realized that the buildings alone are very very pretty.

Any questions or comments? I'd love to know I didn't spend all this time typing for no good reason. I wrote reviews for Bucknell, F&M, and Gettysburg too.
