Dictionaries -- Recommendation Plz.

Should I buy The American Heritage College Dictionary or the Merriam-Webster's Collegiate Dictionary? Which ones better? or both?

webster's.

if you take latin get american heritage; it's god

Are these digital or book versions?

really doesn't matter. Then, is the digital one better or the book version?

I'd assume digital. It comes down to the ability to look up something in 1 or 2 seconds with the aid of a keyboard versus the ability to look up something in about 10 seconds with the aid of your fingers and the alphabet lol.

digital crap ****es me off with all the battery obligations and definitions without the latin roots. Go for the old-fashioned book, when you get fast it only take 3-5 seconds to get a word.

I misunderstood. When you said digital I thought you meant on the computer, not a literal 'digital' device.

If you're on the internet, it doesn't matter. I always go to www.m-w.com or if you have firefox, the internet dictionary they use when you right click is awesome!

But buy American Heritage. Its supposed to be the best.
