I am from a Chicago suburb also, but yet I have still never heard the name. I have been to numerous math, science, etc competitions and have yet to ever hear about it. I’m sorry that I am the first person that has never heard of it for you. It apparently must not be all that important… just kidding by the way (in case you decide to take it literally).</p>

<p>Wikipedia lists ten famous alumni from my suburban Chicago high school. Seven of them are athletes.</p>

<p>Andrew Cunanan (the guy who killed Versace), Shane Walton (NFL), Kevin Stadler (pro golfer), M. F. K. Fisher (famous writer), etc.</p>

<p>We have an American Idol contestant, a famous local band member, an relatively famous actress, and a few athletes who went to our school.</p>

<p>Anyway, the notable alumni was a football player for the Pittsburgh Steelers and a U.S. Ambassador for some place I have never heard of.</p>
<p>Well, Shawn Johnson went to my school. She was supposed to be in my math class last year, but she never showed up, too busy training for the olympics, & dancing w/the stars. But she still has a reserved teacher parking spot.</p>
