Most Famous Person to Come Out of Your High School

<p>At my high school, a member graduated who is now a high ranking member of Obama's cabinet. Makes for some great APUSH stories, or so I've heard.</p>

<p>One of the people on outsourced and one of the people currently on American Idol</p>

<p>For any hockey fans out there, Nick Leddy played at my high school in Minnesota (state champs!!! MN high school hockey state tournament is the biggest in the country, higher attendance than even texas football) just two short years ago. Now he’s on the Blackhawks.</p>

<p>A guy from another hs in my city is on idol now. My school will potentially have a first round MLB Draft Pick this year.</p>

<p>Yeah, I’ve given my high school away on here before. Don’t really care, it’s not like I live within 1000 miles of it.</p>

<p>We have Benita Fitzgerald( Olympic Gold Medalist) and </p>

<p>Jeff Baker, 2B in the MLB… I believe it’s the Cubs. His dad is a teacher here, and he’s my CS teacher.</p>

<p>Megan Quann (jendrick), 2000 Olympic gold medalist in swimming, 2008 Olympic silver medalist. That’s about it, my school’s been open only since 2000.</p>

<p>the two guys in Lady Antebellum graduated from my school :smiley: also, some guy who went to the Olympics for shot put… Reese Hoffa?</p>

<p>How ironic: A former Yale undergrad admissions director went to my high school and there hasn’t been more than 5 kids accepted in the last 20 years (for comparison, we had 40 get to Harvard in the past 20 years)</p>

<p>lol it’s fun reading these posts when you mention a specific persons name, because with the wonderful availability of the internet, it is very easy to find out what high school you go to. And of course, my post will say three things- 1) I have reached a new level of creepiness with the interest to stalk people, 2.) I have a copious amount of free time, and 3.) it’s fun to know where these “famous people” went to high school.</p>

<p>^^I enjoy facebook stalking famous people. You’d be surprised at how ridiculously easy it is to stalk a C/D list actor on your favorite TV show on facebook.</p>

<p>But anyways. To the point. The Art Director from the oldest Magazine in the country or something like that… and an artist from several Disney movies (including Hunchback of Notre Dame and Pocahontas)… No one really famous at all that I know of.</p>

<p>Oh yeah… one of the musicians from Belleville Outfit.</p>

<p>On the plus side, my uncle pitched for the yankees and was rookie of the year. =)</p>
