Did anyone do better in March than Jan?

<p>Several posters say they had higher scores on the old SATI - did anyone IMPROVE on the new March SAT? </p>

<p>If most people do worse on the new SAT, perhaps colleges will take that into consideration when weighing the scores of those who have only taken the new SAT.</p>

<p>I went from a 670m/700v to a 720m/770v and 710w, but then again I only took the old SAT as a soph, not in Jan.</p>

<p>S went from 1390 to 1410 on the two comparable sections- from Jan to March. The reading score improved the 20 points.</p>

<p>I went from a 1460 Old SAT to 1480 on comprable sections. But the Writing really helped me so...</p>

<p>Overall, they're about the same, just that the New one is loooooooooooong.</p>

<p>Old SAT's were 660 M, 730 V and 680M, 710 V. New SAT in March was 700M, 800 CRIT, and 740 Writing. I felt llike I went way up. I thought new exam was much easier than old one!</p>

<p>750V => 770V from May04 to Mar05. A big time gap there, so the increase could be attributed to natural development of skill or statistical chance.</p>
