sophomore PSAT- 158
I didn't break 60 in anything and my writing score was like a 48.
junior PSAT- 168

SAT- 1940. owned. (even though it still needs improvement :))

I hate the PSAT. I was so depressed when my friends got in the 170's and 180's and I got a measly 168 and they all ended up doing much worse than me on the actual SAT.

My PSATs sucked, but that's because I was immature and didn't care, hehe. It really doesn't matter unless you really want to aim for National Merit.

I felt like crap after the PSAT....there were like 30 kids or something that qualified for NM in my grade not to mention countless people with 180s-190s. It kinda motivated me a bit

I'm the opposite. I got a great 224 PSAT and an ok but not what I wanted 2180 on my SAT. I know 2200 and 2180 are only 20 points apart, but that 1 in front of the 80 just makes it look really bad. Why couldn't the 1 be a 2..... And I missed the stupidest questions on the test as well now that I'm looking through the question and answer service and at the actual friggin test. :(

I got a 176 on my PSAT my sophomore year and then got smarter (quite literally) and got a 208 on the PSAT my junior year and then took the SAT and got a 2000 in May. Then I took a test prep class and got a 2210 during my senior year in October. 176 to a 2210 is a pretty big jump IMO...right?

I felt like crap too, but that only motivated me more.

I studied diligently for the PSAT: got a 214. Few months later in June, went to take my first SAT. Hadn't prepped since before the PSAT, but managed a 2340.

Sophmore PSAT 157
Junior PSAT 189
SAT 2270

I was prepping for the SAT not PSAT, thats my excuse...there is really not as much correlation as people think. O yea and I also didn't care about the PSAT too much.

Soph PSAT : 216
June after Soph SAT: 2340 (a week of cramming)
I guess I wouldn't call the first horrible, but I thought it was interesting how inaccurate a predictor it was-- don't think it's binding!
