Not that I mind (actually I'm glad) but I got a letter from Northwestern telling me I did a great job on my AP test (I only took US history and got a 5) and it had some info on visiting and a reply letter and stuff. I'm wondering (a) is this a common letter? or (b) do they really have a way of finding out my AP scores?

omg, I was just going to ask you if you got that...
except I got a 4 in Euro :(
though 5 in Stats.. but of course, that's the one in which they'll accept a 4... what bummms.

that's weird. i'm assuming you're a junior--i took APUSH my sophomore year and got a 5, but no letter my junior year. i know PLAN/PSAT scores are in some database for colleges to look up, but i've never heard of that with AP tests.

I got a 5 on the Calc AB and Euro Hist test....I really like NU....how come you guys got one and I didn't?

It wasn't personal by any means...it was just like all other college "junk mail" except it said "Congrats for doing well on the AP exams!" in the first line of the letter. I wouldn't worry about it, it just contained a little card to request more info (standard in all letters) and a chart about AP credit policy that I'm sure you can find online.

oh, ok
thanks for the info...i thought it was some special recruiting thing

No no no....lol I wish though, that'd be nice...
