Just learned from a computer programmer friend that works at Rutgers that they have a computer program that automatically accepts applicants with over certain scores. Those people who had fast responses had computer generated acceptances......if you don't meet that you get considered by a person and that takes much longer.

My daughter applied late October and received her acceptance packet to Rutgers Business School ( as a freshman, fall '09) and to the CAS.

Katytibbs:

that's not possible. My friend who has a lower GPA and lower SAT was accepted, and I'm still not. Also, a LOT of very smart kids in my school haven't been accepted yet, but medicore students have.

Accepted NB SAS and SEBS-NB
Applied mid Oct, 93 GPA but only 1100/1600 on SAT.
Instate, but not my first choice :-)

My son heard from Rutgers around Thanksgiving, first by email and then with regular mail. It was pretty quick, within about 2 weeks after school sent transcript. He got into Pharm, Engineering and Arts and Sciences. Has very strong scores (SAT 2320, GPA 4.4w), is looking at a range of different schools.

I applied on the 14th of Nov. and still didn't get my acceptance
