well they were posted today if u got thru regular...in another 7 days is my best bet

well I'm in the states (Nevada) and I got a financial aid letter from them already, so admission should be on the way

^ serpentine- what is the date on your finaid letter? i was wondering whether the finaid letter is sent to everyone or to the admitted students.
i got one from them too basically requesting confirmation of the fafsa with tax documents.

My acceptance package came one month after being admitted.

The date stamped on my financial aid letter was February 14th.
I officially was accepted on the 15th. But I think I sent in my fafsa earlier so that's probably why they sent it to me. And I'm sure they knew who was accepted or not before the 15th anyway. I don't see why they'd send it to non-accepted students.

And I got my acceptance letter a few days ago.

I got it just today x3. am very happy.

I got mine yesterday...

Got mine on Friday.

Any Indians who have got the letter out there?? I havent got it yet.

For those of you who have got it, what does it contain??

im Indian and applied in late December. Not received anything yet. I am a finance major.

I live in Florida and got my acceptance letter last weekend only a week after I got accepted! I still haven't received a financial aid letter though. I really want to know if I'm getting a scholarship, because that's the only way I'll ever be able to afford their OOS tuition. Basically, it's UIUC, U-Miami, or U-Central Florida for me right now. It's kinda sad that Miami has UIUC beat in price right now. I got a very big $16,000 scholarship from them. Then I also get $6,500 in bribe money (Florida Bright Futures) from the state of Florida for remaining in-state. Basically, that means I could pay $26,000 to go to Miami or $34,000 to go to UIUC, at minimum. That almost makes Miami a bargain when you realize that the total cost of attendance there is about $48,000.

So UIUC-- Beat Miami's and the Florida government's offer, and then I will consider you. (i.e. Give me that $12,000 OOS scholarship I see on your website!)

BTW, did anyone out of state get this scholarship yet. I'd be curious to see what the typical student getting it is like.

no letter yet...anyone got an acceptance email?....are we supposed to get them?

I just got a letter in the mail that I was accepted to the James Scholar Honors Program! I hope this puts me in the running for scholarships! Crosses fingers

i just received a letter for the james newton matthews scholarship ($2,000). Does this mean that I won't be offered admission to the james scholar program itself? I called and the woman said that the scholar program is separate and I would be notified by the college I applied to (AHS), but does anyone have any more information? Thanks

I got in through DGS, and it is my understanding that each department chooses their James Scholars. Maybe AHS is choosing later.

Is there a lot of important stuff in the package they send to the admitted people?

I recently moved back to my country and I can't change the mailing address...

It has a packet of how to accept the offer of admission online and what to do afterwards as far as housing and other things. Other than that, there's nothing.

i got it seven days after nd i live in Canada...so urs might b a bit longer?

still haven't gotten it...but i'm international and mail usually takes a long time
