did anyone like going to CCC

Oakland.....figures. They really need to fix the Oakland area...

i guess i just wanted to experience dorm life the first year of college since everyone says that's fun

Actually, you can still experience it somewhat. Many of my friends went to college, and I can experience that "dorm life" whenever I visit. Sometimes you'll have a nice schedule at your CC and have fridays off. You can leave thursday after class, and dorm with your buddies until sunday night or even monday morning if you have afternoon class. I'm lucky i'm in Los Angeles, because USC's frat row is only a couple minutes away and UCR/UCI are both within driving distance. For some reason there's always many first year freshmans that have extra meal credit, so not only was I able to stay in a dorm for free when I visited, I got free food. UCI's fried shrimp fridays = exquisite :D. If you REALLY wanted to, you could join a frat even from a CC. If you get really close with frat members, they'll take you in regardless.

guys, to be honest, i feel much better after u guys praised me. i think my ego is recovering its former strength. I think getting acceptance letters from ucla or berkeley will perhaps raise my ego to the point where i want it to be.

uh...when did i mention persian girls? i think i mentioned persians when i was raving about alexander. u really think so? persian girls are hot? i thought my greatness was hot enough for, not just girls, but for men.

oh, go watch 300

I go to a ccc in orange county, and I agree with the social life being lacking. I think its mostly because its a commuter school, and people have friends from High School that also go to school closeby so they arent desperate to make new friends (myself included). I think this helped me out academically, because I was able to focus on my studies and get good grades. I also met a few very inspiring professors and my overall experience was a very positive one.

btw I'm applying to transfer out after this semester.

yah i was at usc the other day for a dental appointment and walked around the campus but you need a key to get it, but i heard dorm life can suck if you have a bad roomate and there isn't really privacy sometimes

ccc is not too bad, mine is 5 min. from the beach so I can still surf all the time. got a high paying job and get good grades. even considered if i don't get into ucb this year but into like ucsb or ucla. waiting going back to ccc and do all the haas requirments and reappling.
i have only done 1 year at ccc with a 4.0 so far and the rest coming for oos so if could finish business reqs with 4.0 would be sick. make more $ in the long run and still can surf.

sauronvoldemort: Many geniuses in the world dedicated themselves to the pursuit of some kind of knowledge or goal, to the point where they had no care nor time for ego (nor family, nor health, nor war...but don't do that). Ego's...just get in the way of being a genius. Forget about ego and grind your way up to that Nobel Prize...or whatever :D (I only say this cause you talked about genius way back)

lostincode: oh, go watch 300

Persian Messenger: This is madness! You can't kill a messenger!
The Spartan Leader/Wolf King looks rational and condensating for a moment
Spartan King: This is SPAAAARTA!!!! kicks the messenger into a bottomless pit

Don't forget to add in a British accent to that too...I think the "Persian" messenger had a British accent too

Its actually in hayward but laney college in oakland is weak too.
