<p>I have sent out my app around Dec. 25 online for UPENN, but I never get a call from UPENN for interview, while one girl from my school just got one recently. She applied for UPENN about a month ago, so do you think submitting your app. early matters in the chance of getting interview?</p>

<p>i submitted in november and got the interview like 3 weeks ago maybe... it was pretty good, my guy was very relaxed, we talked for an hour about penn and colleges in general... just be realxed, remember you are the catch not them!</p>
<p>and also remember--- an offcampus interview is NOT evaluated as part of your application!! i know this bc i thought mine went terrible so i called the office and they were like "uhh those don't matter. we really don't consider ur interviewer's comments."</p>

<p>nahh im pretty sure its true. the point of it is to indicate your interest in the school and to learn more about penn. seriously..its for URSELF to learn about the school... like i was discussing this with ADCOM and they were like "its just one more person supporting ur application" and i was like "have u ever heard of anyone being hurt by an interview" and the guy was like "ehhh not that i know of." and mine was TERRIBLE. so it really cant bear too much clout since i still got in.</p>
