Did anyone send their berkeley transcript to the main office rather than their admissions officer?

Still wondering if this is okay since it says to send them to your admissions officer. Also waiting for a call back from them seeing if I need to resend it

I think one of mine automatically got sent to the office instead of my admissions officer because that’s the generic option when you order transcripts online. Still got there! It’s preferable to Attn your officer, I think they’ll get it quicker because they have tons to sort through, but I don’t think it will get lost in a black hole if it isn’t.

Also, I emailed my admissions officer and got an automatic response saying they’re in a high volume period so you may not hear back for a few days.

@credulity My admissions guy said he can’t find mine on file, but it’s been showing on myapp that it’s been received. Hope you’re right about the black hole thing.

Also, do you know if July 1st is the deadline to send the transcripts or to have them received?

@credulitykills *wrong tag

you should be fine, even if they get to your official transcripts to weeks after the deadline and your transcripts were postmarked before or during the deadline they will still accept them. Even the website says that your transcripts will appear there two weeks after you sent them.
