I took both the Feb and April ACT, but unfortunately, I never really timed myself on the practice tests I took prior. However, when I took the actual test, I needed an extra 3-5 minutes for every section. I'm now timing myself when taking practice tests and I've been making the times a little bit shorter (35 for English, 50 for math and 30 for Science/Reading.) Do you think this is a good idea? Did anyone else feel like they moved a little slower than usual on the real test?
Thank you!

It’s been a while since I took my ACT (October), but I definitely had that problem. So while taking practice tests at home, I found it a lot more helpful to give myself less time on the practice tests. I think I gave myself 5-10 less minutes on every section.
